 Madrid, October 10-12, 2006:
CONCLUSIONS OF THE WORLD CONGRESS OF CATHOLIC TELEVISION

More than 300 delegates representing 48 countries took part in the gathering and many others in the virtual congress via the Internet. During the Congress, we reflected on common themes of interest, analyzed the current situations and changes, and enhanced our knowledge and understanding of each other's work and experience. Attached to this message are a summary of the meeting’s conclusions summing up some of the most important and significant aspects of the work done in Madrid. These conclusions and the Guidelines of Catholic Television are a starting point to offer us some fundamental guide lines on what it means to be a Catholic working in the field of television and what it means to produce Catholic television programs or to direct a Catholic television station.
